How much is the deposit and is it refundable? We require a 50% deposit to secure the reservation. If you cancel your reservation 6 months prior to the event, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel between 6 and 3 months of your event, you will receive a 50% refund. 90 days prior to your event, there are no refunds given for cancellation.

How do I pay? You will receive an electronic invoice and be able to pay with a variety of methods including credit card and ACH bank transfer. You can also arrange to pay the remainder due or the full balance in cash upon delivery (we’ll refund the deposit), for some extra savings.

How much is delivery? One-person deliveries in NYC: $200-$400. Large event requiring two workers: $600-$900. Delivery rates throughout the tri-state area will vary by distance. There are multiple factors that determine the fee but we try to work with you to make it economical and convenient for everyone, especially if timing is flexible.

What are your tables made out of? They’re made from Pine which is light and soft so they’re easy to handle and feel gentle to the touch. I’ve heard them described as “very inviting and comfortable.” This is also due to the massive legroom created by moving the legs all the way to the ends.

Can I pick up and return my rental items? Yes! We are now offering self-serve rentals. Call or email to discuss.

Can you deliver the day before my event and let me or my staff set up? Yes. We prefer to do all the setup and breakdown when possible. However, when scheduling requires, we may make exceptions and allow customers or event staff to handle the furniture. In this case, we will give specific instructions to the responsible party on how to handle and store the furniture to prevent injury or damage.

What are the rates for multi-day or multi-week rentals? This changes seasonally so contact us.

Can your furniture fit in my elevator? Yes, easily. And, up three flights of stairs to the roof? Sure.

Can we leave it out in the rain? No. All the furniture surfaces are sealed to prevent water damage so a little sprinkle won’t be a problem. But, considerations must be made to cover or store the furniture in case of heavy rain. Drying fees are outlined in the contract.

Can we use the tables and chairs on bumpy, uneven surfaces? The tables are more forgiving and you can easily put a shim under a leg to level them out, but, to protect their longevity, the chairs cannot be used on uneven surfaces like cobblestone or unmanicured lawn. Soft surfaces like wood chips or sand are no problem so let’s have a beach party!

Can you deliver tables and chairs for a 120-guest dinner party, a quarter-mile down the beach? Yes, we absolutely can.

What about city parks and other off the beaten path locations? Yup. Challenge us…
